Glacier Spirits

Glacier Spirits ehf. is an Icelandic beverage company based in Reykjavík. The company was established in 2015 and is registered for the distillation, rectification and blending of spirits. Its registered address is Héðinsgata 2, 105 Reykjavík.

The company is best known today for the Glacier spirits range, particularly Glacier Gin, and also owns the registered trademark for Vísi-Gísli Icelandic Aquavit. The Vísi-Gísli mark was originally registered in 2017 to Snioland ehf., at Grenimel 31 in Reykjavík, and is now registered to Glacier Spirits ehf.

Glacier Spirits remains an active beverage producer, and its own sales terms describe the company as specializing in the production and sale of beverages. Its current Glacier brand is associated with Fannar Guðmundsson, Haraldur Gísli Sigfússon and Rúrik Gíslason.

However, the available sources do not establish where Vísi-Gísli was physically distilled during its original production period, or whether Glacier Spirits later produced it directly or held the brand while production was carried out elsewhere.
