Regnig Dag (“Rainy Day” in Swedish) Aquavit is distilled from a 100% corn base spirit and infused with caraway, star anise, and coriander seed. The spirit is then aged for approximately six months to one year in well-seasoned Oregon wine barrels previously used for Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
This aging process gives the aquavit a smooth, mellow character and a light golden color, with subtle notes of spice, oak, and wine-derived fruit complexity.
