BB La Cave Aquavit is a French aquavit produced in Biarritz for the BB La Cave range of Bellota-Bellota. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 500 ml format. The producer states that mineral water from the Pyrenees is used for reduction.

The published profile centres on fresh lemon zest, dill and caraway. The opening is described through fresh citrus, followed by the herbaceous and lightly minty character of dill and the camphor-like quality of caraway, with candied lemon and a light aniseed character in the finish. Bellota-Bellota particularly associates the aquavit with cocktails, dill-marinated salmon, smoked fish and yuzu tarama.

The product forms part of a small BB La Cave spirits collection produced in Biarritz. In the company’s 2024 professional catalogue, the range contained three spirits alongside its wines, beers and sangria. The bottle carries the wording “Biarritz Destilategia”; destilategia is the Basque word for distillery, reinforcing the product’s connection with its Biarritz production origin.

BB La Cave does not operate as a distillery itself, but develops its drinks with partner producers. This aquavit was produced in Biarritz and closely matches Ura Spirits’ Haize Aquavit in strength, bottle size, bottle design, Pyrenean mineral water and its lemon, dill and caraway profile. The published tasting descriptions are also notably similar. Since Ura Spirits is based in Biarritz and produces private-label spirits, it is likely that Ura Spirits produced the BB La Cave Aquavit, although this has not been officially confirmed. If this connection is correct, the aquavit may also be based on wheat spirit, as Haize Aquavit is produced from wheat alcohol.
