Echter Nordhäuser Aquavit

Unaged Aquavit

Echter Nordhäuser Aquavit is produced by Nordbrand Nordhausen GmbH in Nordhausen, Thuringia. The aquavit is distilled according to a traditional Nordhausen recipe and bottled at 38% ABV.

The base spirit is rye Korn, into which caraway seeds, dill, cinnamon and additional botanicals are macerated. After maceration, the infused spirit is redistilled on a small copper still, giving the aquavit a clear profile shaped by caraway and complementary spice notes.

Echter Nordhäuser Aquavit is typically enjoyed neat and well chilled, but it can also be used as a base for cocktails and long drinks. It forms part of the broader product range of Nordbrand Nordhausen, a long-established producer known for Korn, fruit liqueurs and regional spirits.
