Unser Silent-Breath is an aquavit produced by Unser Manufaktur, a small distillery based in Ulm-Böfingen in the state of Baden-Württemberg, southern Germany — a region known for craft distilling and a strong tradition of small artisanal spirit producers.
Bottled at 42% ABV, Silent-Breath is made in small batches without cold filtration or added sugar. Its profile is built around gentle caraway, supported by anise, cardamom, citrus notes and subtle floral-fruity nuances. The palate is smooth, slightly oily, with a balance of spice, citrus freshness and a light malt warmth. The finish is mild and clean, with lingering caraway and a touch of citrus zest.
Silent-Breath represents a softer, more nuanced interpretation of aquavit, shaped by the precision and craft typical of its region.
About the producer
Unser Manufaktur
Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Unser Manufaktur is a small spirits distillery based in Ulm-Böfingen, Germany, founded by Eduard Unser.
All of their products – including gin, “Cumingeist”, “Kaffeegeist” and their aquavit – are conceived, developed and bottled in small batches.
They insist on clear, honest production: no added sugar, no cold filtration, just neutral alcohol distilled or macerated with botanicals, and then bottled at about 42 % ABV.
This artisanal, transparent approach positions Unser Manufaktur not as a mass-producer, but as a craft-oriented player – aiming for nuance rather than punch.
