Sandbank 4 Aquavit is a modern aquavit created on the island of Baltrum and produced under contract at a manufacturing facility in Klein Kussewitz, presumably the Erste MÆNNERHOBBY GmbH (Mönchhagen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), known for producing KALAND Aquavit.

Sandbank 4 Aquavit combines traditional aquavit botanicals – caraway and dill – with tropical notes of pineapple and coconut. A touch of gentle sweetness completes the profile, resulting in a bright and unconventional interpretation of the Nordic classic.

The aquavit was introduced on October 21, 2021, after a full year of development. It was conceived as a fresh, contemporary alternative to traditional Scandinavian styles. The spirit is handcrafted in small batches and distributed through Sandbank Baltrum – primarily at the Sturmeck shop on Baltrum, with additional availability upon request online.
