Aquavit – Private Reserve is a barrel-aged aquavit known for its spicy and savory profile. It features pronounced notes of caraway, cumin, and coriander, supported by additional botanical elements such as cinnamon. Aging in new American oak contributes natural caramel tones, deeper complexity, and a rounded finish. No caramel coloring is added-the yellow straw color comes entirely from the aging process.

The production approach follows the U.S. requirement that caraway be the dominant flavor, but the recipe includes a broader mix of herbs and spices to enhance aromatic depth. The result has received strong critical recognition, including a 95-point “Exceptional” rating from the Beverage Testing Institute.

Traditionally consumed neat either chilled or at room temperature, Aquavit – Private Reserve can also be used in cocktails such as a Bloody Mary, Moscow Mule, or drinks featuring citrus or stone fruit. The spirit is bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof).
