MXPSM Aquavit is produced by MXPSM (Michelberger X Preussische Spirituosen Manufaktur) in Berlin-Wedding, a company that operates in the historic former liqueur factory founded in 1874. The aquavit is based on a highly rectified wheat distillate. A double-distilled caraway distillate, malt extract and lemon peel are added, giving the spirit a clear and intense caraway aroma, a golden-yellow colour and a mild yet fresh character.

The production site was revived in 2002 as the Preussische Spirituosen Manufaktur by Gerald Schroff and Professor Ulf Stahl, who reinstated traditional methods and historical recipes. In 2012, Nadine and Tom Michelberger joined to develop new beverages together with the manufactory. This partnership continued and, in March 2022, became MXPSM, which carries on the legacy of the location.
