Hafen Spezerei Aquavit was a North German aquavit sold through the delicatessen shop Hafen-Spezerei. On the product declaration the producer was given as Ulex Alt-Neuhaus GmbH (formely G.F. Ulex Nachfolger) in Neuhaus (Oste), Germany, so the spirit itself was distilled and bottled by Ulex and only distributed via Hafen-Spezerei.

The aquavit was described as aromatic and mild, built around pronounced caraway notes supported by selected herbs. After a longer maturation in barrique casks it developed a soft, rounded profile and a golden colour, intended as a classic digestif to be enjoyed either at room temperature or well chilled. In the Hafen-Spezerei assortment it appeared simply as “Aquavit, 40%”, so the name “Hafen Spezerei Aquavit” is best treated as a catalog designation rather than an official label brand.
