PLATTSNACKER Aquavit is a northern German aquavit created by graphic designer Nicole Nöhren, who was born in Horst (Schleswig-Holstein). The spirit is produced and bottled by Elbschluck and presented as a fresh, herb-forward interpretation of the regional aquavit style.

The flavour profile is described as crisp and spicy, built on a classic caraway-driven base and intended to pair particularly well with fish and seafood. In keeping with its playful branding, PLATTSNACKER also references Plattdeutsch (Low German) culture – the label text humorously suggests that a few sips might help you “speak better Platt”, or at least help you understand others who do.

The aquavit is bottled at 38% ABV in 500 ml format and is part of the Elbschluck portfolio, which produces a range of regional spirits for northern Germany.
