Lloyd Finest Aquavit
Stuhr, Lower Saxony, Germany
Lloyd Finest Aquavit is a German aquavit whose identity is defined by an 80-day journey around the world. The spirit is matured in old sherry casks and sent on a full maritime voyage, traveling across the North Atlantic, through the Panama Canal, past Singapore, through the Suez Canal, and finally back to Bremerhaven. Throughout the trip, the barrel is exposed to heavy seas, tropical heat, and cold ocean winds-conditions that collectively shape its flavor profile.
The result is a spiced, aromatic aquavit with a rounded character influenced by the sherry wood and constant motion at sea. It is traditionally recommended to be served ice-cold, ideally in the classic Lloyd glass.
