Jule Aquavit 2025

This limited-edition Jule Aquavit was created in collaboration with the Museum of Danish America. It is based on the producer’s Original Taffel Style aquavit – a caraway-forward spirit distilled from organic Midwest corn with ten botanicals in a custom copper pot still. The aquavit was aged 13 months in a single rye cask, followed by an additional 30 months in a porter beer barrel from Mothfire Brewing Co. (Ann Arbor, MI) that previously held peated bourbon from Two James Distillery (Detroit, MI). Total maturation: 43 months. Only 276 bottles were produced.
Aging notes: layered flavors of cardamom, cinnamon caramel, dates, molasses, ginger, almond, and sweet oak.
